Here`s what people are saying about Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient and very old tradition that is being practiced in India for thousands ofyears ago.
The word Ayurveda is etymologically derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (knowledge).

Ayurvedic medicine, is mentioned in the religious historical texts Vedas many centuries ago. The basic concept of Ayurveda is to maintain health.Ayurveda has evolved over the years and is now integrated with other traditional practices, including yoga.
Ayurveda is a form of medicine that’s focused on promoting balance between our body and mind.
Ayurveda is being used and practiced on the Indian subcontinent. A larger number of Indians use some form of Ayurvedic medicine. According to Ayurveda, five elements make up the universe — vayu (air), jala (water), akash (space), teja (fire), and prithvi (earth).

Medicine and Health care are highly practiced under Ayurvedic principles.
Pitta energy is linked to fire, and is thought to control the digestive and endocrine systems.

Vata energy is associated with air and space, and is linked to bodily movement, including breathing and blood circulation.

Kapha energy, linked to earth and water, is believed to control growth and strength, and is associated with the chest, torso and back.

As per the beliefs of Ayurveda many factors such as stress, unhealthy food and diet, weather and strained relationships can all influenced by Ayurveda. These unbalanced energies in turn leave individuals more suspicious to many diseases.
Many Scientific research on Ayurveda also believed that Ayurveda helps us to understand the basic nature of dieases which is called doshas in a patient. And it also help the individual to determine the risk of developing certain health conditions in a person.
Such studies can be helpful not only in identifying vulnerable populations for diseases but also in delaying the onset of symptoms and slowing the progression of the disease. The Ayurvedic diet is a main component of Ayurveda and has been practiced for thousands of years. It’s based on determining our dosha and eating specific foods to promote balance between all three doshas.
The study proved that treatmentsbased on Ayurveda is both safe and effective, providing symptomatic reliefwith no harmful side effects.

Many Ayurvedic treatments — like meditation and individualized diets — are therefore aimed at keeping a person healthy, not curing them of disease.
